Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024: Expanding cooperation opportunities, promoting defense industry
(Bqp.vn) - “I am very happy to participate in this exhibition and have hundreds of partner businesses from different countries. This is where you can see booths of companies from the US, UK, China, Russia, Israel, Iran... Somewhere there are still countries that are confronting and disagreeing with each other, but they are all present here, in a peaceful, friendly atmosphere, with the opportunity to connect and cooperate together. That especially shows Vietnam's international role”. This is the sharing of Mr. Jason Lee, General Director of LIG Poongsan Protech Group (Korea) - the unit that has a booth participating in the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 for the first time.
Expanding cooperation opportunities
General Director of LIG Poongsan Protech Group Jason Lee shared with the press.
Expressing regret that LIG Poongsan Protech's booth only occupied a "modest" space in the indoor exhibition area, Mr. Jason Lee affirmed that at the next exhibition, LIG Poongsan Protech as well as Korean defense enterprises can "reach out" to a more prime and spacious location to match the scale of the exhibition. LIG Poongsan Protech is an enterprise specializing in the production and supply of rocket engines and some other products for Korean weapons manufacturing corporations. Attending this exhibition, Mr. Jason Lee hopes that with the new product of rocket engines using thermoplastics, LIG Poongsan Protech can seek new partners, defense enterprises in Vietnam as well as in other countries, to promote cooperation in technology transfer and build factories to produce LIG Poongsan Protech products locally. During the seminars held at the exhibition, many ASEAN countries such as Malaysia and Indonesia expressed their interest in LIG Poongsan Protech's products.
Vice Admiral Angus Topshee spoke to the press on the sidelines of the exhibition.

The participation of a large number of international delegations and businesses shows the quality of Vietnam's relationship with the rest of the world. Ambassador Olivier Brochet also highly appreciated Vietnam's defense industry products, including those of the Military Industry-Telecoms Group (Viettel).
