Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Government Cipher Committee, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Dang, Director of the Department of Politics and Organization, presented a report outlining key preparations for the Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Cipher Sector (September 12, 1945 – September 12, 2025) and the ceremony to confer the title Hero of the People’s Armed Forces on the Government Cipher Committee. The report also covered activities already implemented, those currently underway, and proposals for tasks to be carried out in the coming period. Based on this, members of the Organizing Committee and supporting teams discussed, reviewed, reached consensus, and assigned specific responsibilities to each group.

After hearing the report and opinions at the meeting, Deputy Chairman Nguyen Huu Hung requested members of the Organizing Committee and team leaders to closely follow the plan, clearly allocate tasks to their members, and ensure proactive coordination among relevant agencies and units to complete the assigned work on schedule. He also emphasized the need to review, supplement, and propose funding in accordance with legal regulations.

In terms of content, Deputy Chairman Nguyen Huu Hung stressed the importance of continuing to organize a series of meaningful and high-quality activities leading up to the 80th Anniversary celebration.

The Celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Cipher Sector (September 12, 1945 – September 12, 2025) and the ceremony to confer the title Hero of the People’s Armed Forces on the Government Cipher Committee are scheduled to take place on the morning of September 11, 2025, at the Ministry of National Defense headquarters.
